My small dog loves it
We brought the ball home last year, and later in the year happened to get a puppy. She loves the ball and being chased around the house and being "tackled". She is a small puppy and the ball just fits in her mouth. The ball is rugged and has been able to take a puppies teeth and playfulness.
My daughter loves it. Not much grip but it's a novelty item so it's not meant to be a real rugby ball
